A police vehicle was stolen by one protester but no arrest has been made, cops said

Arizona.— Video footage captured protesters jumping on patrol cars and smashing their windows. During the chaos, one individual broke the driver’s side window, drove off in the police vehicle, and abandoned it just a few blocks away in the middle of an intersection. The protest, which took place in Arizona on Sunday, was sparked by opposition to President Donald Trump’s mass deportation plan. Police reported that several officers were assaulted during the demonstration.
According to Glendale Police, a large crowd gathered to protest federal immigration policies.
A police spokesperson confirmed that a protester stole a patrol vehicle, though no arrests have been made yet. “The individual jumped into one of our patrol cars and drove it a short distance before it was quickly recovered,” the spokesperson stated, noting that the suspect remains unidentified.
