Crime Awareness: Dangerous Incident in Leimert Park/Baldwin Hills Area, Los Angeles

 On February 17, 2025, a disturbing incident occurred in the Leimert Park/Baldwin Hills area of Los Angeles. At around 1:27 PM, a dangerous driver engaged in an aggressive road rage attack on a family driving near Denker Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard.

The incident began when the suspect, driving a GMC Terrain SLE with no license plates (only a Mercedes dealership tag), aggressively tailgated the victim’s vehicle. Without warning, the suspect pulled over, exited her car, and retrieved a hammer from her trunk. She then proceeded to smash the windshield of the victim’s car before fleeing the scene at high speed.The incident took place on Denker Avenue between 39th Street and Rolland Curtis Place, and thankfully, no one was injured. However, this violent act serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of road rage and the need for increased awareness and caution while driving.
