A Tesla Cybertruck caught fire early Wednesday morning just outside the entrance to the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, resulting in one fatality and several injuries, according to local authorities.

The Clark County Fire Department confirmed they responded to a vehicle fire at the valet area of the Trump International Hotel around 8:40 a.m. local time.

During a press briefing, Clark County Fire Department Deputy Chief Thomas Touchstone explained that when responders began to put out the fire, they quickly discovered several individuals with injuries near the vehicle.

Touchstone reported that seven people were injured, with two being transported to the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas for treatment.

Authorities are currently working to recover the body from the Cybertruck. They also urged the public to avoid the area as officials continue their investigation.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
